Terms and Conditions

1. Who I am

Nicole's Jungle is run by me, Nicole Bannell, from my home studio in North Wales, UK.

In these terms, “I” and “me” mean Nicole's Jungle. “You” means the person using my website or buying from me.

By using my website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. What I sell

I currently offer:

Paper Plant Starter Kit

One-off purchase. A single box with several miniature plant kits and all the tools you need. No automatic renewal.

Paper Plant Club

A recurring subscription where you receive a miniature paper plant kit each month.

Monthly plan: billed every month until you pause or cancel.
12 month prepaid plan: billed once per year until you cancel.

Gift plans

Starter Kit gift: one-off gift box.
12 month Club gift: prepaid for 12 monthly boxes. Gifts do not auto-renew at the end of the gift period.

Legacy plans

Some long-standing subscribers are on older commitment plans (for example, 6 or 12 month commitments, billed monthly or upfront). I no longer offer these to new customers, but the original commitment still applies for people already on them.

The exact contents of boxes, plant designs and any bonuses may change over time.

I do not hard-code prices or discounts in these terms because they may change. The price and any promotion you see at checkout when you order is the price and promotion that applies to that order.

3. Who can buy

My products and services are intended for adults aged 18 and over.

By ordering, you confirm you are at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.

4. Orders and payment

You place an order by completing checkout on my website.
I accept your order when I email you an order confirmation.
Payment is processed securely by third-party providers (for example, Stripe and Subbly). I do not store full card details on my own systems.

If I am unable to accept an order (for example, due to stock issues or an error), I will let you know and refund any payment taken for that order.

5. Subscription billing and renewals

Paper Plant Club - Monthly

Your first payment is taken at checkout.
Future payments are taken automatically each month on or around the 20th.
The plan renews monthly until you pause or cancel in your account.

You can cancel future renewals at any time from your account. Your cancellation will apply to future payments. It will not refund payments that have already been taken.

Paper Plant Club - 12 month prepaid

You pay for 12 months upfront at checkout.
The plan renews automatically every 12 months unless you cancel before the renewal date.
You can cancel future renewals at any time. You will still receive any boxes that have already been paid for.

Legacy commitment plans

If you are on an older commitment plan (for example, 6 or 12 months billed monthly):

You agreed to pay for and receive the full number of boxes in your original commitment.
You can set your subscription to cancel at any time so it does not renew for a new term.
However, you still need to pay for, and will receive, the remaining boxes in your current commitment term.

Example: if you joined a 12 month commitment billed monthly and set your subscription to cancel after month 8, you will still be billed for and receive months 9 to 12, then the plan will end and will not renew.

6. Pausing and cancelling

For current Paper Plant Club plans:

After your first box has shipped, you can pause your Club for up to 2 consecutive months at a time from your account.
While paused, you are not billed and do not receive boxes, but you keep your place. When you resume, boxes pick up where you left off.
You can cancel future renewals at any time in your account. Cancellation stops future payments and boxes once any already-billed boxes have been sent.

Legacy commitment plans may have slightly different rules. If anything is unclear, email me and I will explain how it works for your specific plan.

7. Shipping and delivery

Summarised:

Starter Kits: usually dispatched within a few working days by UK tracked post.
Club boxes: shipped once a month between 13th-15th.
UK orders: sent by a tracked service with a typical delivery aim of a few working days after dispatch.
International orders (USA, Canada, Australia): sent by an international tracked service. Delivery times vary by country.

If your box has not arrived within a reasonable time after the expected delivery date, email me so I can investigate and help.

Risk in the goods passes to you once they are delivered to the address you provided.

8. Returns, refunds and problems

Change of mind

If you change your mind about a Starter Kit or other one-off box:

You have 14 days from receiving it to tell me you would like to return it.
The box must be unopened and unmade, in its original condition.
You are responsible for return postage costs.
Once I receive and check the returned box, I will refund the product price to your original payment method within a reasonable time.
Original shipping charges (if any) may not be refundable.

Because Club boxes are a recurring subscription and made to order each month, they are generally not returnable for change of mind once shipped.

Damaged or incorrect items

If anything arrives damaged or there is a mistake:

Email me as soon as you can, ideally with photos.
I will replace damaged or missing items, or otherwise make it right within reason.

9. Pricing and promotions

Prices, shipping charges and promotions may change from time to time.

Any introductory discounts, credits or other offers are subject to the specific terms shown at checkout or in the offer itself. In general:

Introductory discounts are intended for new customers and one per household.
Starter Kit credit into the Club and other credits are valid for a limited time and under the conditions stated in the relevant emails or offer descriptions.

If I discover a clear pricing or offer error at checkout, I may cancel or correct the order and refund any amount you have paid.

10. Safety and suitability

These kits contain small parts, wires, tools and adhesives.

They are intended for adults.
Keep all components away from young children and pets.
Use the tools as described in the instructions and take reasonable care when crafting.

You are responsible for deciding whether the products are suitable for you and for supervising any children if you choose to involve them.

11. Your account and security

You are responsible for:

Keeping your login details secure.
Ensuring your account information (email, address, payment details) is accurate and up to date.
All activity that takes place under your account, unless you have told me about suspected misuse.

If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact me as soon as possible.

12. Intellectual property

All designs, illustrations, photographs, text and other content on my site and in my kits are owned by me or my licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, sell or commercially exploit my designs, tutorials or content without my written permission.

You may, of course, share photos of your own finished makes on social media and with friends and family.

13. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any legal rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

I am not liable for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable when you placed your order.
My total liability for any claim relating to an order will be limited to the amount you paid for that order.

14. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. When I do, I will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page.

If the changes are important, I may also highlight them on the website or by email. Your continued use of the site or further orders after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

This policy is effective as of 01/05/2026.
